My Story | A Journey of Self-Healing
I grew up in a suburban, middle-class home with two unique influences—my father, a holistically-minded chiropractor, and my mother, a psychologist. While I saw conventional doctors for various issues, my dad always made sure I also had access to holistic care. I struggled with chronic bronchitis every year until I was 12, when a homeopathic remedy finally broke the cycle. I never had bronchitis again.
Later, my dad introduced me to Spring Forest Qigong. I still remember that first session—the energy moved through me in a way I could feel. That moment planted a seed.
I went on to earn my undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota and became a biochemist, while also working as a personal trainer. But soon after, I found myself in a full-blown quarter-life crisis. My mom sent me to a psychologist, and my dad introduced me to Craniosacral Therapy with Somato-Emotional Release. That session was life-changing. It felt like 100 therapy sessions packed into one hour—and I knew, that’s what I wanted to do.

I pursued a Doctorate in Chiropractic as my foundation and began working with bodies—diagnosing, treating, and integrating lifestyle medicine into my sessions. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of learning from brilliant intuitive, psychic, and shamanic teachers, all of whom helped shape my path as a healer.
As my practice evolved, I became certified as a Chiropractic Acupuncturist, Clinical Nutritionist, Health Coach, and Meditation Instructor. I discovered that physical healing often required addressing nutrition, detoxification, inflammation, and organ health. But even then, some people still weren’t getting better—so I went deeper. I learned to work with the subtle layers: energy, emotion, meridians, chakras, subconscious beliefs, generational patterns, past lives, and co-dependency.
I’m also a Licensed Clinical Counselor, allowing me to fully integrate mental health therapy into my practice. This gives me the ability to support patients not just physically and energetically, but also psychologically and emotionally—bringing ma aspects of healing together.
Personally, I’ve journeyed through grief and healing. I experienced the end of a marriage, learned to co-parent, re-married, and stepped into the role of step-parent. As the founder of Total Health and Healing Center just north of Minneapolis, I’ve also navigated entrepreneurship, leadership, work-life balance, and burnout. I’ve lived through loss, addiction, anxiety, and profound hardships—and I continue my own journey of healing, finding purpose, staying in alignment, and cultivating joy.
All of this informs the work I do. I guide others toward deep, integrated healing—because true health lives where the physical, emotional, energetic, and mental intersect.
True health happens in the convergence of mental, energetic, emotional, and physical well-being.
